After months of preparation, we are thrilled to announce that River Creek Stables is officially open and accepting boarders. Whether you are looking for a long-term home for your horse or a clean, safe stall for a short stay, we have a board option built around the level of care your horse needs.
River Creek sits on 86 acres in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains in Church Hill, Tennessee. Our facility includes a 23-stall barn, a 100x200 outdoor arena, an outdoor round pen for groundwork and warm-ups, multiple turnout paddocks, and direct access to more than 12 miles of creek-side, meadow, and ridge trails.
Boarding options for every horse
We offer five boarding plans so you can match the level of care to your horse and your budget:
Full Board — a spacious matted stall with an automatic waterer, daily turnout, feeding on your horse’s schedule, daily stall cleaning, and blanket changes on request. This is our most popular plan for owners who want everything handled.
Pasture Board — 24/7 turnout with run-in shelter, quality hay, and fresh water for horses that thrive living out.
Self-Care Board — a stall and turnout for hands-on owners who prefer to manage their own feeding and care.
Retirement Board — a low-stress, attentive home for senior horses enjoying their well-earned rest.
Short-Term & Layover Board — overnight and short stays for horses traveling through or between barns.
Care you can see
Every boarder gets access to our owner portal, where we post daily care logs and photos so you always know how your horse is doing — even on the days you cannot make it out to the barn. Vaccination status, farrier visits, and health records all live in one place.
