River Creek Stables is a boarding and riding barn at 125 Goshen Valley Rd, Church Hill, TN 37642, on 86 acres along the river with mountain views. Church Hill sits just west of Kingsport on US-11W, so the drive is about 15–20 minutes from Kingsport and about 40 minutes from Johnson City.

It is a working barn first, with 27 stalls, a 100×200 ft outdoor arena, a round pen and 12+ miles of trails. Weddings, elopements and private events are hosted by arrangement and planned individually around that working farm.

River Creek's own site puts the idea simply: "An engagement session by the river. A small ceremony with the mountains behind you. A celebration that feels like your own."

River Creek does not publish a wedding package, capacity or price. Each wedding, elopement or private event is planned individually, and it starts with an inquiry.

Engagement and wedding portraits

Photo sessions on the property start at $95 (Golden Hour Mini: $95, 1 hour, up to 6 people; Full Session: $175, 2 hours, up to 12 people), and a horse with a handler can be added for $150. Sessions are booked in published date windows on the photography page.

Plan around the light. The water is best in the morning before the wind, the pastures at golden hour along the fence line or on an overcast day, and the ridge view is clearest an hour after sunrise. The barn aisle works at any hour, including hard midday sun.
