What you see on a barn tour

A free barn tour takes about 45 minutes and is booked online. You walk the stalls and pastures, see the arena and trails, and meet the herd.

The property covers 86 acres along the river with mountain views: 27 stalls, a 100×200 ft outdoor arena, a round pen and 12+ miles of creek-side, meadow and ridge trails. There is parking and restroom access for visitors.

Tours run during barn hours: Monday–Saturday 8am–9pm, Sunday 2pm–7pm.

Meet the horses

The horses page has profiles of the herd, so children can learn a few names and faces before they arrive.

Every River Creek horse works within daily session limits and scheduled rest days, and riders are matched to suitable horses. Visiting horses meet the same health standard as the boarded herd: a current negative Coggins, geldings and mares only, and no pregnant mares.

Open houses, clinics and Haul-In Day

River Creek holds open houses, clinics and community gatherings. Upcoming dates are posted on the events page, so check there before you plan a trip around one.

If you have a horse of your own, RSVP for Haul-In Day: a free day to bring your horse and ride at River Creek in exchange for an honest review. The date is announced to people who RSVP first, and the usual rules for visiting horses apply.

Ways to come back

Riding lessons are opening as a small pilot: only 6–8 mounted appointments a week at launch, filled from a free priority waitlist that takes no payment.

Bring-your-own-horse day rides are open: arena day ride $25, trail day ride $35, booked online at least a day ahead. Guided trail rides on River Creek's horses are not open yet, and the trail-rides page has a waitlist for them.
