River Creek sits at 125 Goshen Valley Rd, Church Hill, TN 37642, in the same county as Rogersville and Surgoinsville. From Rogersville it is one road, east on US-11W through Surgoinsville to Church Hill, and the barn is about 25–30 minutes from town.

The whole trip stays on US-11W, with no interstate and no need to go through Kingsport, so a mid-week ride or a quick check on your horse fits into an ordinary evening.

Trails that start at the barn door

Boarders do not need to load a trailer to get a real ride in. 12+ miles of creek-side, meadow and ridge trails run across the 86 acres, with named routes such as Goldenbank Loop, Hayfield Crossing, Lanternwood Ramble, Fox Hollow, Meadowlark Way.

On days for schooling, there is a 100×200 ft outdoor arena and a round pen. There is also trailer parking on site.

Board types and current rates

Each option is a different level of daily care, so the right one depends on how your horse lives best and how often you can get out to the barn.

Founding boarding rates currently start at $300/month for the first 3 months (full board $600/month, pasture board $300/month, self-care board $450/month), and only a limited number of founding places are offered.

A $100 deposit to reserve holds a place, and the boarding page always shows current rates and how many founding places remain.

• Full board: a private stall, scheduled feedings, daily turnout, daily stall cleaning and automatic stall fly spray
• Pasture board: 24/7 pasture access with a run-in shelter, maintained water and twice-daily feedings
• Self-care board: a private stall and use of the facilities for hands-on owners

Before you move a horse from Rogersville

Start with a free barn tour. It takes about 45 minutes, and you can walk the stalls and pastures, see the arena and trails, and meet the herd your horse would join. Tours run during barn hours: Monday–Saturday 8am–9pm, Sunday 2pm–7pm.

Every horse on the property, boarded or visiting, meets the same standard: a current negative Coggins test; geldings and mares only — no stallions; no pregnant mares; a signed liability waiver. Having the Coggins paperwork ready ahead of time keeps move-in day simple.
