Can I tour the barn before I board?
Yes. Barn tours are free, take about 45 minutes and can be booked online. You can walk the stalls and pastures, see the arena and trails, and meet the herd before deciding.
Does River Creek offer riding lessons?
Riding lessons are opening as a small pilot: only 6–8 mounted appointments a week at launch, filled from a free priority waitlist that takes no payment. Private, semi-private, family and small-group formats are planned for kids and adults, including first-time riders and riders bringing their own horse.
Can I bring my own horse to ride the trails?
Bring-your-own-horse day rides are open: arena day ride $25, trail day ride $35, booked online at least a day ahead. Visiting horses need a current negative coggins test, geldings and mares only — no stallions, no pregnant mares, and riders sign a waiver.
How many miles of trails are there?
More than 12 miles of creek-side, meadow and ridge trails across 86 acres, including named routes such as Goldenbank Loop, Hayfield Crossing, Lanternwood Ramble, Fox Hollow. Boarders can ride them straight from the barn.
Can we have a wedding, elopement or engagement photos at River Creek?
Yes, by inquiry. Weddings, elopements and private events are planned individually around your date, guest count and the spaces you want to use, and engagement or wedding portraits can be booked as photo sessions. Send an inquiry from the weddings page to talk it through.
Can photographers book sessions on the property?
Photo sessions on the property start at $95 (Golden Hour Mini: $95, 1 hour, up to 6 people; Full Session: $175, 2 hours, up to 12 people), and a horse with a handler can be added for $150. Working photographers can buy a Photographer Pass for $600 a year for weekday sessions of up to 6 people.
Do you host birthday parties?
Barn birthday parties are $450 for 2 hours with up to 20 guests, including pony time with a handler, and staff handle setup and cleanup.
